What we can accomplish together
-
Consultation
The first step is a phone/video 20-30 minute consultation with a speech language pathologist. During this time you will voice your concerns and the therapist will recommend a screening or evaluation if one is deemed necessary for your child.
If you are even slightly concerned about your child’s communication skills, please don’t hesitate to reach out and seek a speech and language evaluation with a licensed speech language pathologist.
-
Screening
A speech and language screener is performed to determine if there is a reason for concern and if an in-depth evaluation is necessary. It briefly assesses speech and language abilities so the therapist gets a sense of where the child is at developmentally. The information gathered will be used towards the evaluation if it is determined that one is necessary.
Screeners are not always indicated. This will be determined during the consultation.
-
Evaluation
We offer comprehensive speech and language evaluations, as well as feeding evaluations. Our focus is on assessing the entire individual to identify any potential speech, receptive or expressive language, and/or feeding difficulties they may be experiencing.
Our evaluation process involves dynamic assessment, formal assessments, and a case history form to effectively evaluate the whole child. Following the evaluation, we provide interpretation and a written report that outlines our findings.
Evaluations are required every 6 months to assess progress. If your child was evaluated within the past 6 months, an evaluation might not be necessary at the moment.
-
Therapy
After completing the evaluation process, we offer personalized 1:1 therapy sessions that prioritize your child's individual needs. Our sessions are designed to create a sensory-rich and inclusive environment that affirms neurodiversity.
Our approach to therapy is unique to your child and family, as we recognize that each child is different. We primarily utilize play therapy as the main intervention method, tailoring it to the specific needs of your child. The duration of therapy sessions can be flexible, ranging from 30 to 45 minutes based on your child's needs and your preference as a parent. We recommend scheduling sessions 2-3 times a week to provide consistent support and progress. The price of therapy will be determined by the duration of each session.
Payment is due at the time of service.

Teletherapy
Speech and language teletherapy services are a great option for parents with a busy schedule or who live out of the areas of services. The teletherapy treatments are almost the same as in person sessions. Teletherapy services are offered to 2-18 year and treatments are mainly play based depending on the client. Parental involvement is necessary with the younger kids, and recommended with elementary school age children.

Parent Coaching
We provide 45-minute virtual parent coaching sessions where we educate parents about speech, language, and feeding development. Our sessions aim to equip parents with effective strategies that can stimulate and enhance their child's communication skills. By teaching you how to incorporate these strategies into your daily routines, we can optimize your child's learning experience, reduce frustration, and improve communication between you and your child. Our goal is to empower parents and support them in fostering their child's communication skills effectively.
